Membership is open to optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, students, volunteers, and patients passionate about eye health awareness.
Types of Membership
Active Members
Sudanese optometrists with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Must pay annual fees.
Can vote and be nominated.
Honorary Members
Granted by the General Assembly to those who contribute to the profession.
Exempt from fees; can attend and speak, but cannot vote.
Affiliate Members
University students or professionals in related fields.
50% discount on subscription; can attend discussions but cannot vote.
