he Sudanese Optometry society, through its student committee, launched Jusoor Initiative to train optometry students abroad. This initiative, with the generous approval of the Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Al-Siddiq, helped the administration of Ibn Sina University to graduate the cohort whose studies had been delayed due to the war. The training was conducted by a number of esteemed colleagues, whom we mention here to acknowledge their contribution:
